Dog The Bounty Hunter Wants No Part Of El Chapo

It would seem that Dog The Bounty Hunter is not willing to go after El Chapo, despite his name, imposing (and stylish) choice of wardrobe, and bad ass theme song. Bounty hunting is illegal in Mexico, but that’s not the only reason that Duane Chapman isn’t willing to go after the recently escaped drug lord.

The bounty hunter and current star of CMT’s Dog And Beth: On The Hunt spoke to FOX 411 about the drug lord’s daring escape and the dangers involved with trying to capture him this time around:

“He probably would be out of my league…

“In order to take him down, number one, you better have a fully automatic weapon. With my weapon, you have to get really close to him — and you couldn’t get that close to him because he probably has five or six guys with him at all times.

“[Also], there would have to be two or three of you to take him down because he is going to shoot it out next time. Last time, I heard they surrounded him and gave him a chance to come out.”

Well this just kills the possibilities of a new Donald Trump TV venture, doesn’t it? The series finale would be a bloodbath, but it’d get great ratings. And the Donald could ever wear his little dinky hat.

Chapman agrees that Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman is most likely deep in Mexico, nestled and hidden away until the search for him cools down. There hasn’t been anything new on the drug lord’s whereabouts, but you can expect he won’t go down without a fight.
