Clinton Portis Calls Out Ndamukong Suh For His Dirty Play, Says He Would Have ‘Choked Him Out’

If you were looking for a strong opinion on Ndamukong Suh’s alleged dirty play, boy does Clinton Portis have one for you. On his weekly appearance with ESPN 980, the former Redskins RB was asked about Suh’s kick of Alfred Morris during Sunday’s game, something Suh called unintentional.

“I just would love to be in that situation. Why didn’t guys play that way when I was on the field?”

Uh Clinton, you just retired five years ago, you played in the same era (and same team) as notorious cheap shot artist Albert Haynesworth. Calm down.

Moving on…

“I would have dove at the back of Suh’s knees so quick and got up and probably choked him out. I definitely wouldn’t have let him get away with that. But again Alfred Morris is a different guy than myself.”

Damn, Clinton Portis talking about ending dude’s careers and stuff. Go on with your bad self, sir. You’re on a roll.

“Guys give off this facade of being tough and ‘oh man, I’m the man and don’t try me’ and you know, I don’t think Suh, you know, is that tough of a player. He’s a great player though.”

That certainly sounds like football speak to me. “He’s a great player but not a tough player” is like something a bozo says in the lockerroom after a guy gets the best of him on the field. But whatever. You do you Clinton.
