Watch Ronda Rousey Nerd Out On World Of Warcraft Ahead Of Her UFC 184 Fight

Any time a pay-per-view is coming up, UFC creates a new Embedded series that follows the main and co-main event fighters around in the week leading up to the fight. For UFC 184, we get to see the lives of four women, Raquel Pennington, Holly Holm, undefeated title challenger Cat Zingano, and UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey.

In the first episode of Embedded, the camera crew is at Ronda’s house on her day off, and when she’s not training, Ronda is playing World of Warcraft. This shouldn’t come as a surprise because Ronda has proclaimed her love of nerdy things for a long time now, though it’s mostly been Pokemon. In last week’s media scrum video, Ronda was asked about World of Warcraft:

World of Warcraft, are you a fan?
Am I a fan of World of Warcraft? Yes, I was playing last night.

How much do you play?
More than I would care to admit. I actually started playing when I was in Bulgaria shooting The Expendables, because I had a lot of down time. I started with a Night Elf Hunter, now I have a Blood Elf Rogue, a Night Elf Hunter, and I have another Night Elf Druid, but I’m not as into her so much right now, because I like outfits, and the Druids kind of look better when they’re shape-shifting. I just like mounts and outfits. So right now, I’m totally more into my Night Elf because I just got a flying mount for it. It’s a Snowy Griffin, I’m pretty stoked on it. Once I could fly, I was like, “What, three dimensional everywhere!”, it just blew my mind. So I’ve been flying around everywhere this whole camp.

I always have a new thing that I’m obsessed with every camp. The last one, I was mostly playing Pokemon. This one, I read the whole Mazerunner series, playing World of Warcraft, and watching Vice.

What about Game of Thrones?
Dude! I read to like, page 170 or something and put it down. Just last night I picked it up from where I left off and started reading Game of Thrones again. It’s like you read my mind. Except I went back to where, never mind, I’m not going to get into it.

I know some people aren’t huge fans of Ronda’s personality, but I don’t know if it gets much better than when she nerds out and speaks at length about Pokemon or World of Warcraft (Even though I don’t know what she’s talking about at all).
