We’ve been hearing a lot about how Ant-Man is supposed to be funny, but the trailers have all been using the same three jokes. And while Yellowjacket getting creamed by Thomas the Tank Engine will never get old, it would be nice to see what else Ant-Man’s got up his tiny sleeve. Fortunately, the new TV spot obliges.
Starting with Scott Lang eating it the first time he shrinks:
That’s gotta hurt. Scott getting flicked around is something of a theme in the movie from the looks of things, considering Michael Pena probably tosses him into a wall in another gag. Hopefully that suit has some shock absorbing capacity or Scott’s going to be in traction by the end of the movie.
Oh, and also we see a bit more of that “Paul Rudd gets punched in the face” bit. Presumably, it will feature even more of Rudd being punched in the face, but we’ll find out for sure July 17.
