What’s On Tonight: ‘Married’ Is Back And Denis Leary’s New Rock And Roll Comedy Begins

NOTE: Hannibal and Aquarius have been moved to Saturday nights on NBC.

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll
(FX, 10:00 p.m.) — This is Denis Leary’s new show about a washed up rock star with a chip on his shoulder and blow up his nose. It looks like it’s set to be the illegitimate child of Californication and Leary’s Rescue Me, but with music instead of literature and yayo instead of booze.

Married (FX, 10:30 p.m.) — When you’re spending FOR-EV-ER together, it’s the little moments that provide a little relief and help to keep you sane. Like when your partner accidentally turns on their sex toy while you’re both sleeping. Russ and Lina are back for season two, and they start things off by throwing a surprise Thanksgiving.

Rectify (Sundance, 10:00 p.m.) — An empty pool serves as a poignant metaphor as Daniel tries to keep his life in order. Amantha’s running out of patience and Sheriff Daggett is hot on someone’s scent.

Astronaut Wives Club (ABC, 8:00 p.m.) — The show goes all Mad Men as the Civil Rights movement causes a ripple effect through the wives and their marriages, while John Glenn ponders a run for public office.

Beauty and the Beast (The CW, 8:00 p.m.) — Bachelor parties have turned into bachelor weekends now. They usually consist of a bunch of dudes doing a long weekend in Vegas or at a cabin in the mountains, where there’s nothing to do but drink profusely and share stories about previous times when you all drank profusely. Except if you’re a beast like Vincent, in which case you get a surprise bachelor party broken up by a sniper.

Mistresses (ABC, 9:00 p.m.) — The timeless classic bromance comedy That Awkward Moment taught us that it’s never fun to DTR (define the relationship). So, imagine how much fun it’ll be for Vivian and Alec… and Karen to figure out whatever the hell it is that they’re doing. Oh, and Joss and Harry head to Splitsville with totally different travel agendas.

Wayward Pines (FOX, 9:00 p.m.) — Harold tries to play Steve McQueen and make a great escape, but ends up playing Zero Dark Thirty with Ethan instead.

Complications (USA, 9:00 p.m.) — A detective from the Gang Task Force shows up and has some questions for John. Sadly, it’s not Ice-T. Sadly, it’s not Christopher Meloni, either.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Paul Rudd, Wyatt Cenac and James Smith on Conan; Ian McKellen, James Wolk and Adam Lambert on Corden; Bill Hader, Cara Delevinge and Years & Years on Fallon; Amy Schumer and Pablo Schreiber on Meyers.
