Damian Lillard AKA ‘Dame DOLLA’ Just Dropped A Hot New Track Called ‘Full Stomach’

It’s been a weird and bittersweet summer for Damian Lillard. Not only did he lose fellow All-Star running mate LaMarcus Aldridge to free agency; he watched three other starters get traded or abandon ship. Nicolas Batum was shipped to the Charlotte Hornets, while Wesley Matthews and Robin Lopez signed with Dallas and New York respectively.

Regardless, Lillard opted to remain with the Portland Trail Blazers on a mammoth five-year, $120 million deal, the first big payday of his young career. He’s also continued to establish himself as one of the best basketball-playing rappers of all time. Just last week, Lillard, aka Dame DOLLA (Different on Levels the Lord Allows), dropped a new track on his Soundcloud page called “Soldier in the Game” which features him rapping over Future’s “F*ck up Some Commas” beat and name-checking rival point guards Steph Curry and Russell Westbrook.

He was at it again today as he released a new track titled “Full Stomach.” This particular beat is from the Kanye-produced Common track “Food,” and it doesn’t disappoint. Dame first made a name for himself as a legit rapper with #4BarFridays, but he let the whole world know he was for real earlier this year when he went on “Sway in the Morning” and absolutely murdered a freestyle over NAS’ “Dead Presidents,” which prompted Sway to rightly exclaim repeatedly that Dame is “spittin’ better than these rappers…He’s doing it as a pastime, and he’s beating you. Get your game up!”
