The Colts Are Having A Prescription Drug-Disposal Promotion At Training Camp

The Indianapolis Colts told fans via Twitter to bring their old prescriptions to Training Camp to safely dispose of them, and in exchange they’ll get a DVD. Which, when announced via a tweet with no context whatsoever, sounds like the weirdest team promotion ever.

As it turns out, the Colts have a partnership with Indiana’s Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Task Force. The promotion is a way to help educate the public about prescription drug abuse while also safely disposing of unneeded pills that could present a household danger.

The real joke here is actually the DVD highlight film fans receive for turning in pills. It’s called “Knocking On The Door,” and is presumably about the Colts winning 11 games, again, and falling short of the Super Bowl, again. Sounds like a real keepsake.
