Oh damn.
Tennis bad boy Nick Kyrgios got down and dirty during a match with Stan Wawrinka at the Rogers Cup on Wednesday night. After an ace, on-court mics caught Kyrgios telling Wawrinka that another player, Thanasi Kokkinakis, “banged his girlfriend.”
You can hear it clearly in the video above and in this Vine.
Everyone watching the match at home wondered what the hell was going on.
Anyone hear what Kyrgios just said? Hahah

One day when Kyrgios grows up…maybe…he might realize that his antics totally disrespect his opponents. #GiveRespectGetRespect

For those watching the Tennis Channel, I'm curious: Should the announcers have addressed what Nick Kyrgios said?

That was really really low Nick Kyrgios. Hope for u that u have people around that will teach u a thing or 2 about life tonight. Very bad👎🏼

In the post-match interview, Kyrgios was asked about the comment.
Reporter: “Nick, I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t ask you, but it’s gone viral on Twitter tonight. The microphones picked up a comment you made to him about Kokkinakis. What went through your mind in making a statement like that?”
Kyrgios: “You know, I thought he was getting a bit lippy at me, so I don’t know. It’s just in-the-moment sort of stuff. I just said it.”
After the match, Wawrinka took to Twitter to address the incident. He was not pleased:
So disappointing to see a fellow athlete and colleague be so disrespectful in a way I could never even imagine.

What was said I wouldn't say to my worst enemy.
To stop so low is not only unacceptable but also beyond belief.— Stanislas Wawrinka (@stanwawrinka) August 13, 2015
There is no need for this kind of behaviour on or off the court and I hope the governing body of this sport does not stand…

… for this and stands up for the integrity of this sport that we have worked so hard to build.

For those of you don’t keep up with tennis rumors, Stan Wawrinka announced a separation from his wife, Ilham, in April. Not long after, he was seen with Donna Vekic, a 19-year-old Croatian tennis player.
Vekic is friendly with the Thanasi Kokkinakis, they play mix doubles together, and they occasionally send each other tweets. Last year, she Instagrammed a pic of the two of them at the Australian Open.

Kyrgios flies off the handle a lot, both on and off the court. He’s not well-liked by other players on tour. He may not care about it now, but, one day, someone’s going to go IK Enemkpali on him.
