Olivia Munn Shows Off Her Wire Work Skills While Training For ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

Olivia Munn has shown a lot of her skills off for her upcoming role in X-Men: Apocalypse. She’s got Psylocke’s outfit down — including the method of sliding in and out of it — and there’s no shortage of her physical training across Instagram. We’ve seen her sword play with Aaron Rodgers, some high kicking to show she doesn’t need any damn weapons, and now she’s showcasing the wire act.

Sara Potts shared this videos on Instagram showing Munn flying through the air in battle form, brandishing her sword and what appears to be a stand in for her psychic blade. If anything, it looks like wire work is fun as hell and you can see why a guy like Quentin Tarantino had such a fondness for those old Shaw Brothers films. It’s cool and still looks a lot better than plain old CGI.

Potts also shared these images of Munn playing around with her sword prop and a few kids, letting them win the fight despite her training.

And then on the other end of the Apocalypse spectrum, we have Bryan Singer sharing this photo of former NSync member JC Chasez lugging around a camera on the set during a visit. You see he notes that it’s a 55 pound 3D rig in the caption, ensuring that the former boy band member couldn’t fool around and bust into dance to break it. He’d at least have to set it down first (I just assume that boy band members will just break into dance at any moment, usually while panhandling).
