The Yankees were in Toronto over the weekend, and took two of three games from the Blue Jays to take over first place in the AL East. That should be what everyone’s talking about today. Instead, the eyes of the Internet are focused on an incident involving CC Sabathia outside a Toronto bar.

According to TMZ, “several people had to hold” Sabathia back from the massive fight. At one point, it looked like Sabathia was completely removed from the situation. Then, the camera shifts for a few seconds and Sabathia’s shoe makes an appearance?

The Yankees have yet to comment on the situation, but a rep for Sabathia told the New York Daily News that he had “no comment.” No idea if the shoe also has a rep.

Meanwhile, in somewhat related (but maybe not related) news, Sabathia’s scheduled start against the Twins has been moved to Tuesday.
