Justice Smith is an actor probably best known for playing Radar in the film Paper Towns, which is currently in theaters. Additionally, he’s set to star in Netflix’s upcoming musical drama series, The Get Down (created and directed by Baz Luhrmann).

Justice was nice enough to take a few minutes out of his busy schedule recently to answer a few questions from us.

1. You walk into a bar. What do you order from the bartender?

I still have a year to go before I can order drinks from a bar without having to deepen my voice to make me sound older.

2. Who’s your favorite person to follow on Twitter and/or Instagram?

I’m new to Twitter so I don’t follow many people to start with. I think @JusReign is hilarious.

3. What’s currently waiting for you on your DVR?

Patch Adams.

4. It’s your last meal — what are you going out with?

A green tea, sushi, and green tea mochi. This is a macabre question. Am I on death row? Then I would probably get like three steaks or something because of inmate peer pressure.

5. What websites do you visit on a regular basis?

Netflix, Instagram, and Lumosity.com.

6. What’s the most frequently played song on your mobile device?

“How Long Has This Been Going On” by Ray Charles. It’s one of my favorite standards.

7. The first face that comes to mind when you think “punchable?”

A mirror.

8. What’s the last thing you Googled?

The definition of “macabre.”

9. Dogs or cats?

Both.

10. Best concert of your life was…?

I went to a Old School Hip Hop concert in the Bronx to do research for the show I’m working on. That was pretty fun. Before that I had only been to one other concert. Van Halen in Vegas when I was 13. I fell asleep on the fold-out chairs. Not because of the music, but because I was 13 and it was 3 o’ clock in the morning.

11. What book are you most likely to give as a gift?

Maybe the Tao Te Ching because it’s a really enlightening read, and I can’t turn down the opportunity to be a pretentious douche.

12. What’s the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you?

My mom once held 5 jobs to provide for my sister and me, so that takes the cake.

13. South Park or Family Guy?

Both.

14. You have an entire day to do whatever you want. What would you do?

Sleep till 3 in the afternoon. Watch Netflix and eat chips. Play video games. Read.

15. What movie can you not resist watching if it’s on?

Space Jam, but it’s never on :(

16. The sports team or teams you’re most passionate about?

Sports and I are new acquaintances. I went to my first basketball game, while shooting Paper Towns in North Carolina, and fell in love with the Warriors. I’m still learning a lot about the sport, however.

17. Where did you eat the best meal of your life?

Damn, I really haven’t lived that long to know what’s out there. Also, I’m not that picky when it comes to food.

18. The last movie you saw in a theater?

Straight Outta Compton, which was phenomenal. Jason Mitchell who played Eazy-E is a new inspiration of mine.

19. Who was your first celebrity crush?

This is slightly embarrassing, but my parents tell me that when I was 3 or 4 I would press my face against the TV when Britney Spears was on and say “She’s so pretty.”

20. What would you cook if Nic Cage was coming to your house for dinner?

The Declaration of Independence.

(PREVIOUSLY: Arielle Kebbel)
