Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook is one of the most intense, can’t-miss players on the court, but sometimes it can be easy to forget superstars like him have personal lives, too. Well, with Russ sometimes it’s hard to ignore.
But this past weekend he got married to his college sweetheart. Westbrook met Nina Earl while both were playing basketball at UCLA as undergrads, and on Sunday the two wed in a star-studded ceremony in Beverly Hills.

Current Thunder teammates Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka were reportedly in attendance along with college teammate Kevin Love, ex-Thunder backcourt mate James Harden (with Khloe Kardashian in tow), and journeymen Dorell Wright according to People.com.
The pair had Keri Hilson on hand and Miguel also showed up with a surprise performance. A lot of couples would kill just to have one of them sing at their wedding but that’s just the benefit of being a multimillionaire I guess.
Fortunately for the bride, Westbrook played it (relatively) safe with his fashion and didn’t bust out one of his patented ridiculous outfits like the overalls as jean skirt, the tiger pajamas, or whatever this is.
In all seriousness, congrats to Russell and Nina. Now Westbrook can turn his attention back to getting Oklahoma City back in the playoffs. Remember, this could very well be the last year we see him and Kevin Durant as teammates.
