After a first show of mostly monologue and guests, Stephen Colbert introduced potential segments for The Late Show. So, at least that staple of late night programming will continue on with Colbert. Of the new segments introduced, this bit with Scarlett Johansson may have played out the best.
After a traditional interview with Johansson, Colbert invited her to take part in “Big Questions with Even Bigger Stars.” In this segment, Colbert and the guest lay on the ground under a moonlit sky while he asks the truly important questions like “Is there a difference between living and being alive?” and “Would you rather have feet for hands or hands for feet?” Truthfully, I don’t really feel like I know a person until they can tell me what they want done with their body once they’re dead. You really get a true feel for their character that way.
