Did Ndamukong Suh Kick Alfred Morris On Purpose?

The Miami Dolphins knew what they were getting into when they signed Ndamukong Suh to a massive contract this offseason. While Suh is an unbelievable talent that has the ability to transform the Dolphins defensive line into one of the best in the NFL, he also has a long reputation of being a dirty player.

Suh of course has been here before, many times. Like when he stepped on Aaron Rodgers’ leg or when he punched Jay Cutler or when he deliberately kicked Matt Schaub in the nuts.

This instance, however, is a little more tricky, as it’s not really clear that Suh kicked Morris on purpose. It looks plausible that Suh just tripped as he was walking over Morris – although he doesn’t appear to feel to badly about it. It’s possible that if this was a different player, this particular instance might get dismissed as being an accident. But with Suh’s reputation, it’s naturally going to be scrutinized more.

Morris certainly looked like he thought it was on purpose, but we’ll go ahead and give Suh a pass on this one. Besides, it’s not like he did anything else controversial in his first game in a Dolphins uniform.

Oh.
