Sure, Trevor Noah has been hosting The Daily Show for a few days now. But in these modern times, you can’t really call yourself a late night talk show host until you’ve had a segment about Donald Trump. On Thursday night, Noah checked that box from a unique angle.

Many have joked that while Trump has been leading polls, he’s still not qualified to be president. Here, Noah argued that Trump has plenty of presidential traits. They just happen to be the qualities of past presidents from another continent. It seems a little far-fetched, but running down the check list, Trump does seem to share some qualities with past dictators and warlords of African countries. I’ll say this much: Many who wondered about The Daily Show‘s potently more global coverage probably didn’t have “comparing Trump to Idi Amin” in the realm of possibilities.
