This Rob Lowe ‘We Were Robbed’ Prank Is Literally The Best Prank

After leaving The West Wing in 2003, Rob Lowe’s career stalled. He rarely appeared in movies, give or take an occasional Austin Powers, and he was the star of two failed TV shows and something called Beach Girls, which aired on Lifetime (that probably tells you everything you need to know). In 2006, Lowe joined the cast of Brothers & Sisters and things began to pick up again. Then Parks and Recreation happened, which led him to the Emmy-nominated Killing Kennedy and Behind the Candelabra, The Grinder, and Moonbeam City.

It’s no McConaissance, but it’s still pretty impressive.

And now Lowe’s officially made it all the way back, because his name’s been turned into a pun prank by someone on Imgur. It’s Nicolas Cage-esque.

Prankster “StudyOfWumbology” waited until his parents left the house. When they returned, mom and dad found a note reading, “I accidentally left the garage door open after I went to go see Ted. When I got back home, the whole place was robbed… I’m sorry, please don’t freak out when you go inside.”

You can see where this is going (though I’d be more freaked out he saw Ted).

I’m dead.
