D’laontie Dee Lewis loves Justin Bieber. He loves him so much, in fact, that he’s already been arrested twice this week for disrupting schools in order to sing the Bieb’s music over the intercom. First he hit up a middle school (where kids love Bieber), and then, after being arrested, he dipped from the hospital he was at and hit up a day care. Probably because he knows that’s where Justin’s true fans are.
Lewis’s story began on Tuesday morning when police were informed that a man who might be off his medication might try to visit a local high school in Dunbar, West Virginia. Shortly after, the school was placed on a precautionary lockdown after Lewis got inside and tried to take over morning announcements. According to WCHS, he asked that the PA system be relinquished to him so he could serenade students with Bieber’s music. He was handcuffed and taken to a hospital for his safety. Police also charged Lewis for possession due to a “small amount of marijuana” he had on his person. But that was just the beginning.
South Charleston police said D’laontie Dee Lewis was arrested on new charges – disorderly conduct and trespassing after he walked out of Thomas Memorial Hospital and went into Kiddie Kollege Daycare at First Church of the Nazarene and tried to sing Bieber songs again.
A criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court said Lewis was asked to leave the property multiple times by daycare employees. The complaint said he “wanted to speak to the children as Justin Bieber and stating that he could see them because he was Jesus.”
It sounds like police were very patient with Lewis because after his demands were not met and he left the school, he began growing belligerent, shouting at parents and officers in front of the building. He was asked to stop several times, but, according to WCHS, he refused.
Lewis has been returned to the hospital, where healthcare workers are likely keeping a very close eye on him.
