LeBron James became the youngest player to ever score 25,000 career points on Monday night and he did it with some flair. After a lackluster first half where James was passive and the Cavs fell down big to the Sixers, Cleveland flipped the switch in the second half and never looked back.
James was especially active after halftime, eventually closing in on a triple-double and showing off some of his hops for those who may say he’s lost a step. He picked off an errant pass from Nik Stauskas for the first of his “Dunkman” dunks of the quarter. While he almost bumped his head on the rim, the most impressive part of the play may be how he anticipated the pass, breaking to the spot Stauskas would throw the ball long before he’d even picked up his dribble to throw the pass.
LeBron wasn’t done there, though, as a few minutes later he’d soar again to catch an alley-oop from Matthew Dellavedova before staring off into the stunned crowd as they admired his work.
In the fourth quarter James would finally crack 25k career points, on what else, another dunk.

James finished the game just with 22 points, nine rebounds, and 11 assists. More important than a near triple-double or even the scoring milestone, though, is that the Cavaliers came back to get the win.
