Jaguars wideout Justin Blackmon was arrested again on Saturday morning, and questions are beginning to arise whether or not the former Oklahoma State product and fifth overall pick in the 2012 draft may have blown his last chance at a successful NFL career.
Now, TMZ has obtained a video of Blackmon’s arrest, and it’s just as bad as you’d think. Blackmon told police officers after he was pulled over that he only had two drinks, but that certainly doesn’t appear to be the case as he failed field sobriety tests and his slurred his speech. Blackmon also failed a preliminary breath test and refused a breathalyzer. As you can see from the video, Blackmon was unable to walk in a straight line when asked.
Blackmon told officers in the video that he had previously been arrested in 2008 for a DUI, so if you add that his 2012 arrest, that makes three total for Blackmon, who is currently serving a suspension for violation of the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
At this point, football should probably be the furthest thing from Blackmon’s mind, as he needs to be worried about getting himself help for the sake of his health and wellbeing.
