On Monday morning CNN’s Poppy Harlow had a scary moment while on air, terrifying viewers when she passed out in the middle of a live news broadcast. Thankfully cameras were turned away to a poll graphic regarding American satisfaction with the war on terrorism when the moment struck, but it was still audible to those watching at home.
Shortly after, Harlow returned to reassure viewers that she was okay, saying that she had “gotten a little hot and had passed out for a moment,” but that she was fine and that they were going to take a quick break. She tweeted an update a few minutes later to those concerned for her well being:
Thank you all for your concern and messages! I am ok! Passed out briefly and am with the doctor now. So thankful to our amazing CNN team.

Hopefully that’s all there is to the story, but either way Harlow should take the rest of the day off. It’s a holiday week, anyway, so we all know that nothing pressing is happening!
