When the nominees for this year’s Oscars were announced on Thursday, it certainly didn’t go unnoticed that not a single actor of color was recognized. The Academy faced criticism for their decision — the second year in a row — and many high profile names have come out to call out the awards.
Perhaps the most visible and anticipated voice to weigh in on the controversy is none other than this year’s host, Chris Rock. He shared a rather amusing reaction to the flap with his 3.7 million Twitter followers on Friday, along with a new promo for the telecast set to air Sunday, Feb. 28 on ABC:

Tough to imagine anyone putting it any better than that, but we’re sure Rock will try. One would expect Rock will make plenty of jokes at the telecast and might even call for a Kanye moment himself. It might not be as laid back and offensive as Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes, but Rock is sure to ruffle a few feathers.
