If any of this is a spoiler to you, you’re doing something wrong: chicken magnate Gus Fring, whose face was literally blown off during the fourth season finale of Breaking Bad, may return in the second half of season five, according to the actor who portrayed him, Giancarlo Esposito. In other news: SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE.
Rebecca: The Breaking Bad finale was insane! Could not have been more gut wrenching. Do you know anything about the final season yet?
Just that Gus could be coming back! Giancarlo Esposito tells us “there has been talk” and “there has been certainly ideas floating around” about his big bad character returning in some capacity for the very end. And Giancarlo is so on board with that, saying, “I want to come back in Walt’s [Bryan Cranston] dream and haunt him.” Yes, please! (Via)
Indeed it was, “Rebecca.” Esposito currently stars in Revolution, NBC’s sci-fi series about a world without technology that premieres September 17th, but that doesn’t mean he can’t make a one-episode appearance in Breaking Bad, which begins filming in November. The g-g-g-ghost thing is a good idea, too, though the more likely scenario is a flashback. Or maybe Gus was a ghost all along, a gay ghost at that (TV first!), and he and Mike will finally be able to express their long suppressed feelings for one another, in g-g-g-ghost form?
But yeah, probably the flashback thing. Anyway, here’s a picture of Jesse kissing Gus on the cheek.
