Ish Smith with the strangest shot I’ve ever seen. “An odd argument against science” as @RyanRuocco said. pic.twitter.com/eTxfEmPfHO

The NBA has seen its fair share of circus shots over the years, but the mind-bending angle involved in this Ish Smith shot during Tuesday night’s Nets-Sixers game seemed to defy the laws of physics.
After nearly losing the ball out of bounds, Philly’s feisty point guard somehow regained control and launched a desperate, high-arching jump shot over the outstretched arms of Thaddeus Young along the baseline that kissed the top of the backboard perfectly before falling in.
The Sixers, however, would go on to lose 131-114 as is their modus operandi this season.
