Even though it was a matchup between the fourth and fifth seed, the mystique of the names Indiana and Kentucky meant their second-round game was always going to be a heavyweight battle. It lived up to the billing, too — the game was close all the way, with Indiana only pulling away in the last five minutes. Tyler Ulis tried to do his best Kemba Walker impression, but the Hoosiers coolly hit their free throws and squashed the comeback.
With Ulis, Jamal Murray and Skal Labissiere likely headed to the draft, Kentucky remains an NBA factory, but this wave is light on college glory. Their lofty position in the college basketball world means that when they go down, the Internet goes to another level when it comes to delighting in their misery.
