It’s hard to believe it’s been just three months since the El Dude Brothers rode off into the sunset, leaving a hole in our hearts when Peep Show ended its nine-season run back in December of 2015. While it’s safe to say David Mitchell and Robert Webb have safely put Mark and Jez far in their rear-view mirrors behind them (which is fair, considering that they played the characters for a total of 12 years), it seems that not everyone involved in the series is quite ready to let go.
Following in the footsteps of Ricky Gervais who started the trend by performing sold out shows as David Brent with his band, Foregone Conclusion, Matt King, a.k.a. “Super Hans” (a.k.a. “Simon”) announced on Twitter this week that he plans to tour as his fan favorite character this summer.
So I'm gonna be DJing as Superhans this summer. Watch out for me at festivals, Ibiza, small pubs. Choonz & jokes innit. #superhans #djhans

Unfortunately for fans in the States, it seems unlikely that King will perform over here, so we’ll just have to anxiously monitor the internet for YouTube footage to inevitably pop up. Now if we can just get Paterson Joseph (currently being seen in You, Me and the Apocalypse) to go around giving business seminars as Alan Johnson, we’ll be totally set.
Although his tour this summer will be presumably drug-free, here’s a brief reminder of Super Hans and his turbulent love affair with crack.
