Would you like to see something adorable that has absolutely nothing to do with the unfunny, cruel vagaries of April Fool’s Day? Would you like something surprising that doesn’t involve costing anyone their job, engaging in sociopathic behavior, or destroying a nonconsenting partner’s property? Good news! Here’s something absurdly cute, surprising, and harmless.
This endearing little girl named Kayla was spotted at this year’s WonderCon in Los Angeles sporting an amazing Star Wars: The Force Awakens BB-8 costume made by her parents, William and Nikki Miyamoto. She impressed the heck out of convention goers along with her older sister Zoe, who was dressed as a Xenomorph from Alien. And — much like this sweet Force Awakens couple — she impressed us so much we wanted to give her a post of her own instead of including her in the Cosplay of the Week roundup earlier today.
Look at how cute this is. LOOK AT IT.
Gah, too much cuteness. She even got to meet R2-D2 and give the thumbs up to a fellow droid.
