The final season of 30 Rock kicks off tonight (YAY!/frowny face) and it’s our duty as appreciators of the finer things that we send it out proper. Kurp has already reminded us of all the life lessons Tina Fey’s Liz Lemon has taught us over the years and Burnsy not so long ago paid ultimate tribute to one of the greatest (the greatest?) recurring characters of all time. Now it’s my turn to lend a hand in the form of the best bad boyfriend in television history: Mr. Dennis Duffy.
Over the years one of the things that can make an already enjoyable episode of 30 Rock even more enjoyable is a Dennis Duffy appearance. From the second you see the man’s face you know you’re going to be treated to at least one repeatable gem that will be welcomed by the blank stares of your significant other. I’m certain the world’s most invested Islanders fan will be making an appearance at some point this final season, but in the meantime here are some of the best pieces of solid gold wisdom he’s imparted on us over the years.
