Klay’s father may have something to say about that! ? https://t.co/AJNeDfz1PN

You know what they say? There’s at least some truth in every joke.
The 2015-16 Golden State Warriors have won more games in a regular season than any team in NBA history and — after the first two games, at least — are wiping the floor with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Finals. They’re now just two more wins away from becoming the best team in NBA history, so yeah, of course they’re better than any version of the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers with that cool “Showtime” nickname.
Klay’s father is Mychal Thompson, who won a championship with those Lakers in 1988. Klay’s father may have something to say about his son deeming the Warriors better. It’s probably something along the lines of, “Yeah, they’d beat us by about 50, so very smart take, son.”
Draymond: "How can you say we're better than the Showtime Lakers?"
Klay: "We're better than the Showtime Lakers."
Mychal WILL respond.

Mychal has a radio show in Los Angeles, so he will have something to say about this today because it’s quality content. Hopefully he’s honest because the world can’t take another old dude crying about how some young kids today would destroy a team from the past.
Every press conference the rest of the season should just be Klay talking about which teams the Warriors could beat in history.
“We are better than the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls.”
“We are better than that mutant team professor Farnsworth put together on Futurama that one time.”
“We are better than the Monstars when they had their powers.”
“We would crush that weak Hickory team from Hoosiers.”
Come on, Warriors. Let’s get people as angry as possible before the season is over.
