Usher’s back looking much like his old self in the video for his recently released song “Crash.” The singer breaks out his praised dancing shoes and pulls off a host of moves over the electro groove. It’s all surprising upbeat for a song driven by the idea of heartbreak. “Would you mind if I still loved you? Would you mind if things don’t last?” he sings on the song’s chorus in a calm falsetto.
“Crash” was one of two new songs the Confessions singer dropped a couple of weeks back. His Young Thug collab, “No Limit,” may not have been the sound for Usher but “Crash” is definitely him in a confident, more comfortable set of surroundings. And it’s the kind of track that could serve as a good lead into his upcoming album Flawed, which currently doesn’t have a set release date.
