Kevin Durant’s having a big summer. First he rocks the NBA world by joining forces with Steph Curry and company on the 73-win Warriors, and he’s currently the biggest star on the Team USA that’s heading to Rio in a couple weeks in search of Olympic gold. Now, it seems as if he’s gotten a tattoo to celebrate all the heady times — and it’s a dandy:
That’s the large image of Tupac Shakur, framed by the signature Ws of the Wu-Tang Clan. It’s some pretty good-looking, if large, ink, but it does kind of send mixed messages about KD’s relationship with 90s hip hop. Oh, and when asked about the tattoo, he confused the issue even further:
Durant is a huge Pac fan, I just learned. Biggie is his favorite but he is supremely impressed with Pac's mind at such a young age

Wait, so Biggie is his favorite rapper…but he got a tattoo of Tupac and the Wu-Tang Clan? Does he have some even bigger tattoo of The Notorious B.I.G. somewhere on his body that we don’t know about? Even if he does, it’s a fine remember that 2016 is a long way from 1997, and no one has to dislike one rapper just because he’s from a different coast or a different crew.
Our main concern: With as tall as Kevin Durant is, how long did that damn thing take?
