It’s been a long road, and after what felt like an oasis in the random Apple stream from Frank Ocean has finally bore some fruit in the form of his visual album Endless and traditional album Blonde. The rollout was interesting, and possibly trend setting and clearly the result of a few years of work from Frank and his team and Saturday night he took to Tumblr to thank the entire world for the motivation.

For over four years, Frank had pressure on him to not only follow up the critically acclaimed Channel Orange, and while fans grew disgruntled at times, ultimately they gave Frank the time and space he needed to complete the followup to his liking. It makes sense he’s grateful for not only the patience, but the motivation that comes with a planet of people anxiously awaiting your next move.
It seems the fans are grateful as well, with Frank’s name trending on social media since the moment he reemerged on his Endless stream on Apple playing new music. Now, after his pop-up shops emerged throughout the country fans are looking to capitalize, listing his Boys Don’t Cry magazine on eBay for upwards of $1,000.
