Larry Fitzgerald’s 100th Career TD Was An Absolutely Ridiculous Catch

Larry Fitzgerald is reportedly ready to hang up his cleats at the end of the 2016 season, but you wouldn’t be able to tell that he’s nearing the end of his career tonight. Fitz has caught 5 passes for 35 yards and 2 TDs in his slot role for the Cardinals. This, all while on a “slightly sprained” MCL. Yes, Larry does it again.

Watch that play over and over, it’s worth it. Carson Palmer puts it right where only the shoe-in Hall of Famer Fitzgerald can put his hands on it, and even though it bobbles and Fitz is falling down in the end zone, he still somehow grabs the over-the-shoulder pass.

If we only have 15 or so games (not counting playoffs) left of Larry Legend, then this is something to truly admire.

While you’re here, let’s break down some numbers:

Fitz has 1,026 receptions all-time.

100 touchdowns.

Has never played less than 13 games in a season.

The Madden Curse did not affect him.

Fitz and Jason Witten both entered the top ten for all-time receptions today, pushing Isaac Bruce to 11th. With a decent year, Fitz can absolutely pass Terrell Owens as the sixth all-time receptions leader if he can total 1,079 grabs.

If that doesn’t get you one of those fancy gold jackets, what will?
