The brilliant production team at TNT played the chill-inducing promotion below before the league kicked-off its lockout-shortened 2011-2012 season on Christmas day. We vividly remember seeing it for the first time, and you surely do, too:

And amazingly, the supremely talented folks at Slamdunk Mixmakin just did it one better. In an updated and extended version of “Forever,” they take you on an emotional five-minute minute odyssey through league history, seamlessly linking basketball’s best moments and players from yesterday with those of today and tomorrow:
