Oh, now they’ve really gone and done it…
Foo Fighters’ live show in Kansas City later this month is set to be picketed by members of the notorious Christian fundamentalist church Westboro Baptist Church.
The church, who have become notorious after they protested the funerals of fallen US soldiers with signs that read “God hates fags” and “Thank God for dead soldiers”, will be out in force outside the band’s show at the Sprint Center on September 16.
Last week I had the pleasure of incurring the wrath of the Westboro Baptist Church on Twitter. Specifically, Megan Phelps, daughter of church founder Fred Phelps, fired off a number of unprovoked tweets saying that God hated me and I was going to burn in hell blah, blah, blah — for what exactly I don’t even remember, probably because Lucifer-y gumbo she had for lunch gave her cramps. Phelps even vaguely threatened to travel to New Orleans to protest me or something? Like, seriously, do these tards have nothing better to do? Still, it was a proud moment.
So what this means is that they’ve gone from f*cking with a nobody person who writes things on the internet, me, to f*cking with the man many believe is God on earth, Dave Grohl, in the span of a week. That’s some biblical sh*t right there. Dave Grohl is a goddamn lightning bolt harnessed to a speeding locomotive fueled by prehistoric shark blood and God’s semen. YOU DO NOT F*CK WITH DAVE GROHL!
I can’t wait to see how this ends.
UPDATE: They’re still trolling me, like the Super Trolls they are…
