We might not see a more athletic play all year better than this one from Malik Monk. #BBN pic.twitter.com/zqvCp9n2d3

Another Kentucky men’s basketball game, another ridiculous highlight involving some of the team’s unreal freshmen.
Malik Monk has already stood out as an exceptional passer during this young college hoops season, but this was truly ridiculous. The standout freshman leapt into the air and caught this high lob one-handed along the sideline. Rather than try coming down with the ball, he threw it to a streaking Wenyen Gabriel as he tumbled to the floor.
Gabriel then — as one does when receiving such an impressive pass — finished with an equally impressive reverse dunk.
A Kentucky basketball fan Twitter feed knew what Malik’s crazy move looks very similar to: Odell Beckham Jr.‘s famous touchdown catch on Sunday Night Football in 2014.

This baby, unfortunately, didn’t seem to be too impressed by the play.

Maybe the young Kentucky fan gets more excited about scoring than assisting. Fear not, tiny Wildcat: Monk can definitely do more than pass. He finished the game with 23 points and led Kentucky to a 7-0 start in a game where the Wildcats led by double digits just six minutes into the game.
