UPDATE: Camila Cabello has responded to Fifth Harmony’s statement that she’s leaving the group and that their characterization of her departure as sudden is false. “Saying that they were just informed via my representatives that I was ‘leaving the group’ is simply not true,” she wrote. Check out her full statement below via Twitter:

Original story below.
Fifth Harmony is now a foursome. The girl group that came to fame on the U.S. version of The X Factor and scored hits like “Worth It” and this year’s “Work From Home” went down a member and officially became a misnomer when Camila Cabello announced she was leaving the group. The remaining members of the group shared a message on social media telling their fans that the group would continue to exist as a four-piece.

“We are four, strong committed women who will continue with Fifth Harmony as well as our solo endeavors,” the band wrote. “We are excited for our future and we can’t wait for what the new year brings. Harmonizers, we are in this together.”
But Twitter isn’t made for well-reasoned responses to thought out statements on a band’s future. So, the Harmonizers reacted about how you would expect and through a #5Hisoverparty, coming up with some pretty clever hashtags along the way. (#H4RMONY is gold).

For me, Fifth Harmony without Camila is not Fifth Harmony.
Fifth Harmony without Lauren, Normani, Ally or Dinah is not Fifth Harmony.— ✨ (@laurenjfetus) December 19, 2016

All internet roads lead back to Carpool Karaoke. It is known. Camila herself has yet to comment.
