Lil Yachty Subbed Joe Budden With An Old Lil B Diss Track

It appears that a beef is growing between Lil Yachty and Joe Budden. Just a day after Budden went on his online Complex show Everyday Struggle with DJ Akademiks and said, “I don’t think that Yachty is hip-hop,” Lil Boat found a way to clapback without actually clapping back by sharing an old diss track against Budden that Lil B shared on his Soundcloud page from years ago.

Budden caught wind of the Tweet and was none too pleased.

Still, even while Budden has some obvious anger to flash at Yachty, he couldn’t help but respect the Lil B diss.

At the heart of the issue is Budden’s view that Lil Yachty is bad for hip-hop. “I think Yachty is ruining the culture. Someone who should not be accepted in this f**king culture,” Budden said, before going in on the inclusive cover of Lil Boats debut album Teenage Emotions. “I don’t think that Yachty’s label is Hip Hop, and when you’re not Hip Hop and you’re trying to troll or exploit, you get things like this album cover, which is to draw attention to music that’s not drawing attention.”
