Hot 97 Revealed The Full, Star-Packed Lineup For Their Annual Summer Jam Festival

It’s one of the most venerated and well-attended events of the year for hip-hop fans in New York City. That’s right, the annual Hot 97 Summer Jam festival is back once again and is set to go down on June 11 at MetLife Stadium. The lineup this year is stacked with some of the biggest names on rap radio.

On the large Stadium Stage, they’ve booked Remy Ma & Fat Joe, Migos, DJ Khaled, Trey Songz, Joey Badass, Desiigner, French Montana and Chris Brown who’s holding it down in the headliner’s slot. They also got Faith Evans who is using her set to celebrate the life of her departed husband The Notorious B.I.G.

The inclusion of Desiigner and Badass to the bill is extremely interesting given their recent, public critiques of the New York radio establishment. On Monday Desiigner, tweeted, then deleted a simple message: F**k NY Radio.” Meanwhile earlier this month, Badass ended up going on Hot 97 itself and calling the station out for holding hip-hop back in the city.

“New York radio… we need the new, young Ebro. We need the new, young Funk Flex. We need the new Peter Rosenberg, man. Y’all holding they seats, man.” Adding, “Y’all keeping this sh*t a certain way, and New York radio, in my opinion, hasn’t really grown too much in the last couple of years. It’s stayed the same. Everybody else is beating us out now. You got Atlanta killing it, L.A. killing it. You know why? Because they got young people involved, and they getting the inner cities involved.”

Tickets to the event go on sale on April 28 on Ticketmaster. You can check out the full lineup of big names at this year’s festival from the poster Hot 97 shared on their Instagram account below.
