The release of NBA 2K18 is still a few months away, but you can get your ears ready for the soundtrack to you balling out a bit early. Game maker 2K Sports released the music available in this year’s edition of its annual basketball behemoth, and the list is pretty impressive.
A whopping 48 tracks feature plenty of familiar names, including some popular tracks from the likes of Future, Kendrick Lamar and Drake as well as some classics from OutKast and Def Leppard are here to give you that familiar arena vibe.
And indeed, Wasatch Front, a track from Portland Trail Blazer Damian Lillard—née Dame D.O.L.L.A.—did indeed make the track list. Lillard said he would have two songs on NBA 2K18, including a “secret track.”
Yessir! In addition to "Shot Clock," one track from #TheLetterO will also be on #NBA2K18. Find out which one tomorrow on @NBA2K's page… https://t.co/80dA7AjrHz

Looks like you’ll still have to unlock “Shot Clock” if you want to hear it, but Dame wasn’t lying about making the soundtrack.

Even a song from the Hamilton mixtape made the game. Nas’ version of “Wrote My Way Out” is on the list, though it was originally written by Lin-Manuel Miranda for the musical. The soundtrack does have some significant range—from Shakira to Lil Uzi Vert—which is great for fans who are looking for something a bit different in every song.
You can listen to the tracks on Spotify and pick your favorites for when the game drops on September 19, though those that pre-order it can grab it a few days early on the 15th. Personally I can’t wait to jump from Kendrick’s HUMBLE. to C&C Music Factory’s “Gonna Make You Sweat” and then rocket back to some Sammy Hagar. It’s gonna be fun.
