The most infamous, most talked about shoe of 2017 is finally getting to people who don’t have the last name Ball. Lonzo Ball’s signature shoe —the ZO2 Prime Remix — is finally getting shipped to those that preordered the $495 kicks earlier this year.

After a refreshed design and a slight name change, Big Baller Brand’s first shoe appears to have finally shipped out to customers.

LaVar Ball himself mentioned in a TMZ video that the shoes shipped out to people on Black Friday, shortly before he said he’d send a pair to Donald Trump so he can come play basketball with the Balls in Chino Hills. That line got more news than the actual business news: that Ball had apparently delivered on what he promised.

“We just got ’em out,” Ball told TMZ. “We putting them on flight today.”

ESPN’s timeline of the Big Baller Brand’s release included mention of the ship date for Lonzo’s shoe. And it seems like, according to Ball, they did it. The achievement comes 18 months after Ball first filed a trademark for the company’s name, and it also puts to bed an ocean of talk about the shoes that didn’t really exist in the consumer marketplace until now.

By now it’s clear that LaVar Ball is great at marketing his company, his sons, and himself. But it’s a lot harder to make a good shoe than it is to talk about how good of a shoe you can make. The ZO2 has seen changes as that talk became reality, but now we’ll find out just how good it is now that it’s in the hands of the people. The people that, you know, decided it was worth the money in the first place.
