The Roots were set to be a highlight of SXSW this year with a big jam featuring Ludacris, Dermot Kennedy, Jessie Reyez, Rapsody and southern funk group Tank and the Bangas. Unfortunately, that performance never happened: The Roots were forced to cancel it after the venue they were scheduled to perform at received a bomb threat via email on Saturday, as the Austin, Texas municipal Twitter account reported.

Now, an arrest has been made in connection with the bomb threat: 26-year-old Trevor Weldon Ingram has been arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat, a third-degree felony. As CBS News notes, Ingram could face up to ten years in prison if convicted. Austin Police Chief Brian Manley also said on Sunday that Ingram has been ruled out as a suspect for the package bomb explosions that left two people dead in Austin last week, KVUE reports.
After the threat, The Roots’ Questlove shared a brief statement on Twitter, writing, “No one is [more] Mr. ‘Show Must Go On’ than me, but we can’t risk our lives if we are told there was a bomb threat. I’m sure we will return to Austin, ladies and gentlemen. Thanks for understanding.”

As for the bombings that actually did happen, Austin police are currently offering a $115,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the bomber.
