Watch Sterling Brown Name All 50 States In Less Than 30 Seconds

Sterling Brown may have the single-most impressive skill in the entire NBA, and it has nothing to do with the game of basketball. Brown, a second-year guard/forward with the Milwaukee Bucks, revealed that he is able to name every state in the United States in less than 30 seconds during the team’s home tilt against the Indiana Pacers.

The video aired during a time out, and features Brown saying he believed he remember “all 50 of these from social studies.” The clock starts, and with about 1.5 seconds left, Brown is able to get through the entire list, starting with Illinois and ending with Maryland.

Now, it is extremely easy to argue that something seems awry here. The path that Brown takes en route to naming all 50 states is wild, and I have no clue how he’s supposed to very easily keep track of where he is on the map unless he has some mnemonic device to get them all without messing up. I would have tried to go with a more clockwise approach, but also, I probably can’t do this, so I am a bad source for strategy on this.

Until we have a reason to believe shenanigans occurred, though, we’ll believe Brown can pull this off. Besides, there are literally zero stakes to this, so shout out Sterling Brown, because this is good.
