The USC Trojans have missed the NCAA Tournament each of the last two seasons, including a dismal 16-17 record last season, but hope is on the horizon.
Evan Mobley, the consensus top recruit in the Class of 2020, has decided to stay at home in Southern California and commit to the Trojans for what most expect to be his one year of college ball in 2020-21. Mobley isn’t just staying at home, he’s joining the program where his father is an assistant coach and his brother is an incoming freshman on the team.

The 6’11 center from Racho Christian in Temecula, California has all the tools to be one of the top prospects for the 2021 NBA Draft. He’s a gifted scorer on the block with a solid shooting touch and incredibly fluid movement skills for his height. Mobley’s junior highlights show his full repertoire of skills, while also highlighting how much room he has to grow into his tall, lanky frame and add strength.

Mobley will bring that skillset to Los Angeles next year and with him coming in along with his brother and their AAU teammate Onyeka Okongwu, both five-star recruits as well, the Trojans will be hoping to snap out of their recent downslide and emerge once again as one of the Pac-12’s top teams.
