Monica Lewinsky Broke Her Silence About That Time She Hooked Up With The President

Hey, remember the 1990s? That’s sort of the question that National Geographic is asking for a new docuseries entitled, The 90s: The Last Great Decade?, that will explore that wacky decade in great detail through interviews with the people who lived it. Narrated by Rob Lowe, this Sunday’s debut episode, “Great Expectations,” examines the earliest moments of the decade, from Bill Clinton’s nomination to the rise of Kurt Cobain, but the really juicy stuff won’t happen until the series reaches the Oval Office, and Slick Willie’s stinky cigar.

Now 40-years old* and being dragged into the mainstream again for the possibility of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, Lewinsky agreed to sit down and talk about her affair with Bill Clinton for the first time in 10 years – she also recently wrote about it for Vanity Fair – and how she felt she was being treated by the media and the Starr Report. TODAY had a first look at Lewinsky’s interview, and the one-time White House intern called the release of the Starr Report one of the worst days of her life, as if we couldn’t have guessed that. She also claims that she was a “virgin to humiliation” until that day, which basically just set everyone on Earth up for an easy joke.

Except David Letterman, obviously.
