Just when you thought Amanda Bynes had it all figured out, just when you thought she was clean and sober, she goes ahead and gets popped for driving under the influence of drugs. According to TMZ, Bynes was arrested sometime Sunday in Los Angeles.
Bynes was driving a Mercedes in the San Fernando Valley when she stopped in the middle of an intersection on Van Nuys Blvd.
A CHP officer spotted her and determined she was under the influence. She was taken to the LAPD Van Nuys division where a drug recognition officer evaluated her and determined she was under the influence of a drug.
Amanda was then booked for DUI. She posted $15,000 bail.
I sincerely feel bad for Amanda Bynes. There, I said it. She’s clearly not right in the head and we can go back and forth blaming it on drug use, but that’s secondary to a much bigger issue. Earlier this year, she seemed on the right track going back to school for fashion design and spending quality time with family but alas, it was all for naught. This most recent incident could mean jail time for the former Nickelodeon star. Frankly, I’m not sure she straightens out her life again if prison’s in her future.
