Chris Rock kicked off his Saturday Night Live hosting gig the best way a stand-up comedian can: with seven plus minutes of new-ish material and no singing or dancing. In classic Chris Rock fashion he didn’t shy away from any topics, hitting on marathon bombings, never going into Freedom Tower, the irony of the Christmas economy, and what supporting gun control will do to you.
