The Cincinnati Bengals were pushed around pretty good by the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night, losing 24-3 in a game that saw Bengals QB Andy Dalton throw for 86 yards, 0 TD’s and 3 INT’s while completing only 10 of 33 pass attempts. After a game in which the Bengals were thoroughly outplayed in every facet, you might have expected a certain amount of embarrassment or humility from the Cincinnati locker-room. A.J. Green seemed to think so. What did you think, Bengals rookie RB Jeremy Hill?
“[The Browns], they’re not that good. [That loss] was on us. We gave them the game, in my opinion. They didn’t do anything special. We just gave them the game. They just sat back with coverage the whole day…We’ll play them again, and we’ll see what happens.”
I wonder if the Browns just sitting back in coverage the whole day opened things up for the young rookie running back. Stand by while I check the box score real quick.
55 yards on 12 carries and a lost fumble.
Hmm, I think his post-game analysis may be a bit inaccurate.
