Nebraska fired Bo Pelini rather unexpectedly on Sunday, forcing out their head coach even before the Cornhuskers know their bowl game destination.
Pelini’s players were not pleased with athletic director Shawn Eichorst’s decision. However, they did get to meet with Pelini one final time at Lincoln’s North Star High School last night around 9:30. It was, of course, documented.
You really think we wouldn't meet with Coach Bo? Think again. Everyman got their chance to say goodbye tonight pic.twitter.com/HjXchlpXl3

Many other Cornhusker players chimed in as well.
Great meeting with coach Bo. Love the guy. Always has our backs. Thanks for everything coach!

Good seeing Coach BO tonight. The man loved the game but loved his players more and that's what made him so special to play for #BOknows

There’s been no word yet on who will succeed Pelini, but Eichorst could be “going big.”
