Skrillex And Diplo Joined Forces For An Insane Madison Square Garden New Year’s Eve Party

“If you’re drunk make some noise right noooooooow,” screamed Diplo as he hovered over his electronic tools of destruction.

The New Year’s ball wasn’t the only thing to drop last night as we rung in 2015. Super DJs and producers Diplo and Skrillex (Forbes’ ninth highest paid DJ of 2014) joined forces in Madison Square Garden to drop bass all over that ass in a house party/stageshow complete with massive beachballs, professional jump rope teams, gigantic video screens, half-naked women violently vibrating their butt flesh, copious amounts of alcohol (and probably other “dry goods”), Skrillex’s ridiculous haircut, friggin’ lasers, and a sea of people making abstract faces and hand gestures synchronized to the thumping sounds serving as the city’s heartbeat.

If you weren’t able to gain access to MSG last night, the soirée was available to stream online from Live Nation and Yahoo (watch the replay below) and it’s worth checking out if only so you can see stuff like this:

As yellow confetti rained from the rafters during the final number, Mac Miller appeared on stage wearing a very loud suit jacket and sporting a grin that echoed his jubilance with his recent record deal. Check out the replay of the concert below to see that, Diplo breaking out his version of the “Schmoney Dance,” as well as one cameraman’s effort to film every single half-clothed breast he can find.
