Jared Leto still hasn’t finished thanking people for his win at the 2014 Independent Spirit Awards. At last night’s award ceremony, Leto — who previously won best supporting male for Dallas Buyer’s Club — came out to present this year’s award to J.K. Simmons for his performance in Whiplash. In his acceptance speech last year, Leto made sure to thank everyone from Wayne Gretzky to the inventor of the zipper.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jared Leto continued with that theme Saturday night by jokingly handing out thank-yous to those he “egregiously omitted” from his original speech. The recipients of his gratitude included:

“That frog that I accidentally squeezed to death in second grade, thank you for teaching me how short life truly can be. Richard Simmons, my flexibility, endurance and uncanny fashion sense. All of my homies at Poquito Mas on Ventura Boulevard. And last but not least my grandmother for beating me senseless with a  fly swatter, teaching me that you can’t get away with everything that you think you can. Respect your elders unless you want a can of whoop-ass.”

Well played, Mr. Leto. Well played. Also Friday saw this happen:
